Q. Why unhealthy margarine instead of butter?
A. The light margarine spread we list on the menus is Brummel & Brown
light margarine spread (as listed on your grocery list). We chose this product
because it works well in recipes, is lower in calorie and fat compared to
regular margarine or butter.
Most importantly we chose this product because it is also trans fats
free. Trans fats are often a concern with margarine but is not the case
with Brummel & Brown. Butter will contain more saturated fat.
Moderation is key when using fats though. Calories can add up fast. A
little goes a long way
